The morel mushroom sauce turned out beautifully. We poured it over the steak, yum! The mushrooms really have an interesting texture, although I read that to really get the best flavor out of them it&#039;s best to use a dairy-based sauce because they&#039;re so delicate.

As for the fiddlehead swirly-gigs... this is kind of sad, but I decided against eating them. My friend and I were researching how to cook them, and found out that if you don&#039;t cook them long enough there&#039;s some sort of toxin?! Sounded kind of sketchy for me while pregnant, so I figured it would be best to experiment more after the baby&#039;s out. ;)</description>
